Superman / Batman Series 6: Enemies Among Us - Set of 4
The best-selling action figure line continues with its sixth set of figures, this time based on the popular story arc
Enemies Among Us, illustrated by Ethan Van Sciver!
Each figure features multiple points of articulation and a base.
Figures included:
Batman (6.75”): This singularly grim interpretation of Batman is clad in the black
and grey costume with simplified bat emblem, utility belt, and a voluminous floor-length cape intricately textured to resemble
a bat’s wing. Batman was faced with a more than casual threat when Despero used his influence to turn Superman against
Batman.
Superman (6.75”): Superman is clad in the classics red and blue costume. He was one of a number of alien
superheroes manipulated by the power of Despero and turned against the Earth. Superman succumbed to Despero’s influence
short of attacking Batman, although once he regained control he argued on the humans’ behalf.
Green Lantern
(6.75”): Green Lantern features a black and green costume, with a green mask and white gloves. In the wake of Despero’s
previous defeat, Hal Jordan transported Despero to Oa and placed him in the custody of the Green Lantern Corps; Despero would
ultimately escape and return to Earth with an alien force.
Despero (7.25”): Despero is clad in black pants and
a billowing blue cape; his deep red skin is mildly scaly in texture, and his hands and feet are mounted with thick black claws;
his finned crest is situated vertically. Despero is imbued with titanic strength and stamina, and is capable of flight and
teleportation; Despero’s third eye provides him with ponderous telepathic powers and the ability to enforce his will
on others.
